Our Review Panel says...

This is a fun and informative book from the ‘Healthy Habits’ series that uses animal characters to tell a story and share an important message.

Just like the title says, this book promotes awareness of what food children are putting into their bodies and the importance of eating a balanced diet – all through the eyes of Lemur as we journey through a day in his life.

This book is well suited for KS1 children and would be best shared by a teacher or parent, as a starting point for discussion. The colourful illustrations will grab the attention of younger readers. The final few pages of the text are perfect for use in the classroom – to help summarise the key learning from the story and the glossary also provides child-friendly definitions of some of the more complex vocabulary.
