With them being the only blackberries in the wood, she decides to take them, waking Herbie and dropping all of their supplies. Will the festive party still go ahead without any food for the guests?This story is a lovely and simple festive story with hidden messages about the importance of teamwork and unlikely heroes. The illustrations are lovely and at the front of the book is a map of Holly Wood so the reader can immerse themselves into the festive world. The story is easy to follow along by even the youngest readers. At the back of the book is a recipe for Festive Ginger biscuits that you could bake for your very own festive party.
