News: Shoe Wars – Creative Competition

We are huge fans of Tom Gates here at BooksForTopics HQ – and imagine our shoe-prise when we hear about author Liz Pichon’s new middle grade book, Shoe Wars! Shoe Wars sees siblings Ruby and Bear and their inventor father work to outwit horrible boss, Wendy Wedge, to win the coveted Golden Shoe Award, with an amazing pair of flying shoes. The book publishes 15th Oct 2020 and is available to pre-order online or from your local bookshop.

To celebrate the release in October, Scholastic and Liz are encouraging kids to get involved and design their own crazy creations to be entered into a competition to win their very own Liz Pichon designed Doodle Shoes, a signed copy of the book and a Skype visit from the creator, herself.

To enter, draw your very own gadget shoe (the crazier and wackier the better!) and email your creation to [email protected] along with your contact details by September 30th.

Best of luck!
