When reading, you will either laugh out loud or cringe from questions such as ‘But What if… You Could Use Your Burps to Fly?’ and ‘But What If…Your Poo Was Pink?’. It is educational, with science linked throughout, although filtered through topics that appeal to children’s humour, like earwax, snot and scabs.

The illustrations were colourful and eye-catching. The attention to detail in the illustrations means you spot a new aspect each time you read it. This book is suitable for children from EYFS onwards. As a class read, it will lead to a very entertaining story time where children will also learn something new. Be prepared, it will cause lots of giggling!
