Book Synopsis

The second book in a brand new chapter book series, Unicorns in Uniform.

High up in the Mystical Mountains, YAN YETI has a bad case of the sneezes, causing extreme weather in the form of snowstorms! When a ginormous ‘ATISHOO!’ triggers an avalanche, and young YO-YO YETI goes missing, air and mountain rescue unicorn SUNNY and his unicopter BEE are tasked with an urgent rescue mission: to venture out onto the mountain and find her.

But out on the snowy slope, SUNNY starts struggling with strange spells of dizziness. As he calls in the other unicorns and a swoop of albatrosses to help, can they save YO-YO YETI before it is too late?

Our Review Panel says...

The Yeti’s Sneeze is playful, bright, and full of energy — but it also quietly champions empathy, inclusion and emotional understanding.

This is one of those books that feels delightfully silly on the surface but has a surprising amount of emotional and curriculum – friendly depth underneath. It follows the Unicorn School crew as they deal with a gigantic, chaotic sneeze from a very anxious yeti — and everything that sneeze sets off.

As both a primary teacher and a parent of an SEN child, it hits that sweet spot where fun, feelings and learning all sit together comfortably.
