Our Review Panel says...

This superb little picture book teaches about the water cycle. The dual protagonists are always active in this delightfully illustrated adventure: they notice the blight of a cloud on a sunny day while cycling; they witness the formation of big, fat raindrops that fall from the sky; they jump in the puddles that form beneath their feet.

Although the words evaporation and condensation are not mentioned, the process is illuminated in simple words and pictures so that not only will the reader understand the process, but they also see its cyclical nature. Other neat touches include the understanding of what rain is for, as well as the colours of a rainbow.

It’s rather the sense of the wonder of the world, which is exactly what any adult will want the child to absorb in their understanding. Fun and informative for EYFS.
