This book contains a wide range of interesting facts including the history and origin of the sport and how the sport is played.
The book is presented appealingly, covering a wealth of different sports- something for everyone for sure! We especially enjoyed learning how different sports are adapted for disabled participants.
The balance of illustrations and small chunks of text mean it not only appeals to a broad range of readers but is accessible too. A great addition to any lower Key Stage 2 classroom, which I’m sure will spark a lot of enthusiasm and inspire lots of sportsmen and women of the future!
