Chapter book

Three unlikely friends join forces to save some ordinary lives and learn to stand against the opposition when nobody else will.

Roy is a new kid in school. He’s being bullied by Dana Matheson, to make it even worse. On one occasion, Roy spies a mysterious boy running full pelt along the path beside the bus. Roy becomes obsessed with finding out who the boy is. There are also some mysterious vandalism incidents at a new building site in town.

This is a story of friendship for 11-14 year olds, with a focus on friends working together to save one of nature’s creatures from corporate greed. The main message seems to be to stand up for what you believe in, even if you’re alone.
