Graphic novel

When the kids are away, the pets will play! A side-splittingly hilarious graphic novel for fans of The Secret Life of Pets and Bunny vs Monkey.

A new animal is arriving at St Bernard’s Academy, and the current class pets could not be more excited. That’s until who they find out their new friend is actually a terrifying, and very hungry, snake! He’s already eaten the headteacher and has his eye on some more furry snacks.

It’s up to the class pets to join forces and save the day, but everything they know will be tested in an epic fight to survive. Can Goldie the fish find a use for school cafeteria food? Will Mrs Sprinkles the Guinea pig discover if there’s ever a wrong time for glitter glue? Can Ken the stick insect survive being cut in half?

These questions and MORE answered in a the first of a riotous new young fiction series from best-selling picture book superstar Beach.

The third book in the bestselling explosively funny Blazing Bottom series . . . Perfect for fans of The DInosaur That Pooped series.

Sir Wayne and his dragon are BACK and this time they’re out to rescue a princess held captive by a Big Bad Beast. But WHO exactly will save her? Sir Wayne: who can climb every wall – no moat is too deep, no tower too tall. Or Dragon: so muscly and lean – he can fly and fart flames, he’s a fighting machine! If ONLY there was a way to get the best of both…

This bestselling series is as funny as it is farty, for fans of The Dinosaur Who Pooped series, and I Need a New Bum!

Look out for more fart-tastic fun in The Dragon with the Blazing Bottom and The Knight with the Blazing Bottom, and get ready for Beach’s brand new, brilliantly naughty story Big Bad Dragon Club, coming in March 2024.

Picturebook

This book follows the story of Peanut the pony. Peanut eats a flower and turns into a Poopicorn. A Poopicorn is able to poo any item they can think of. At the start, Peanut finds it entertaining, but after a while, he keeps thinking of bigger and better items, and everything becomes very overwhelming. He has to stop and think of a solution to remove all of the things he created.

This is a fantastically illustrated rhyming book. The pictures are bright and engaging for younger children. The rhyming elements help the children to think of words or join in when the story is read out loud. It is a great book for children who like reading about unicorns and poo. A funny picture book that younger children always enjoy.

The moral or thinking behind the story is about what to do when you always want more, and the impact that can have on someone. It is also a good book to show how to think about how to overcome a situation when it gets a little overwhelming.

The follow-up to the bestselling, fabulously funny – and hugely farty – The Dragon with the Blazing Bottom. Perfect for fans of The Dinosaur that Pooped.

Sir Wayne and Dragon are back! And on yet another adventure to get Dragon’s flame round the right way… Luckily Wayne knows JUST what to do BUT! Is doing everything in reverse ALL day long really a good idea? And when the start to dress as each other, swapping EVERYTHING round, what on earth might happen?!

Our story begins with a knight on the town,
Sir Wayne seemed happy, but Dragon was down.
“It’s just so unfair,” he said to his friend.
“Each time I breathe fire it comes out the wrong end!”

A hilariously anarchic picture book, with a truly explosive ending! From the hugely exciting new picture book talent, Beach.
